Thank you for your feedback. That's what I am thinking for next year. 
Scratch for 6th, Alice 2.x for 7 and 8 (Advanced scratch for some 7th 
graders) and possibly Alice 3.x for some advanced 8th graders. I would 
need to learn both 2.x and 3.x before September.
