alice-teacher "Soft" pre-release of Alice 2.4.2

Version Alice 2.4.2 is now available at http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/download_alice2.4. We expect that this is going to be the version used in Alice courses during Fall, 2014.

This is a “soft” release, meaning that we have made it available for you to test on one of the machines in your system, and to let us know of any problems you encounter. This gives us time to address these problems, before a final release at the beginning of June.

If you encounter any problems, please report them to me at don at alice.org.
