Speaking as someone who's mainly a musician, there's a big difference
(to me) between eastern US and elsewhere.  Hamilton was about a 9 hour
drive for me, but I drove anyway because then I could put my lute,
trombone and a basket of other instruments in the back of my car.  Had
the event been far enough away that I needed to fly, I certainly would
have brought fewer instruments with me.
