[SCA-Dance] Fw: KWDS report (What I Did on my Summer Vacation...)

That was several years ago, maybe 6 years ago or more.

I think we can revisit the topic, especially when we have 4 places
expressing interest in hosting. Personally, I don't think "it does
draw from the whole known world" being a good excuse. When I was in
the Seattle KWDS, there were maybe a handful flying in from outside
the country (not counting Canada), similarly for the KWD in Texas. And
you see the same usual suspects at Pennsic and KWDS, and the same
subset of them at Terpischore or Crystal Ball (both yearly dance
events which draws people from outside their kingdom).

Either way, there is a lot to be gain for letting KWD be annual for 4
years, and then revisiting it to see if it needs to be once every two
years. We don't have to be set in one particular way or another.

I know if the next KWD is in Europe, I will be missing it. And having
missed the one in Canada, and the next one in Europe, that's 4 years
of no KWD for me, because of travel limitations. Having it annually
would mean I miss it every other year, instead of for 4 year stretches
at a time.

Lowrie.

If we met on the middle Sat or Sun, we could use my phone.
