Greetings to all Youth Fighters and their parents!

This Sunday is the LAST YOUTH FIGHTER PRACTICE before the Pennsic War!

BMDL youth fighter practice will be held this Sunday in the park at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd. in the East End. Map here: http://goo.gl/maps/FX4wg

Practice runs from 2-5 pm as usual. The weather forecast looks good (for a change). I'll have freezer pops, and Robert will be back from summer camp, yay!

Make sure to bring a water bottle. If you want a place to sit between bouts, remember to bring a folding chair.

Youth fighters, if you plan to fight in the AEthelmearc Youth/Adult Tag Team Tourney at Pennsic on Wednesday of War week, and have not yet found an adult partner, NOW is the time to do it. There are usually adult fighters who are willing to team with youth fighters on the day of the tourney, but you are better off not counting on it and getting yourself a partner NOW!

At Pennsic there will also be youth combat from 8 am to 11 am and 3 pm-5 pm daily, plus tourneys and the ever-popular CASTLE BATTLE on the final Thursday of Pennsic.

The BMDL Youth Combat practice schedule going forward is as follows:

July 14 - LAST YOUTH COMBAT PRACTICE BEFORE PENNSIC

July 21-August 4 - NO PRACTICE, we will be at PENNSIC!

After Pennsic:
August 11 - Practice at Washington Blvd.
August 17 (Saturday) - Siege of Harlech, with Youth Combat Tourney and Woods Battle!
August 18 (Sunday) - NO Practice, go to the tourney at Siege of Harlech on Saturday
August 25 - Practice at Washington Blvd.
Sept. 1 - Practice at Washington Blvd.
Sept. 8 (Sunday) - Baronial Champions' event with Baronial Youth Combat Champion's Tourney, at the Cabin in North Park

I hope to see you all this Sunday!
