[SCA-BMDL] Attention Coronation goers - Pittsburgh Traffic Restrictions April 10th and 11th

Please note the following road restrictions and closures for this weekend;

PennDOT will stop traffic in both directions on the Parkway East near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel for up to 15 minutes at a time between 6 a.m. and noon tomorrow and Sunday as crews inspect the Greenfield Bridge and replace protective netting below it.

Elsewhere on the highway, inbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane at the Penn Hills and Wilkinsburg interchanges from 6 a.m. to noon tomorrow as crews repair guide rails. All exits and ramps will remain open.

And outbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between Churchill and the Turnpike from 8 tonight to 9 a.m. tomorrow. Only the right lane will remain open.

Other major construction projects across the region include:

• Fort Duquesne Bridge: The upper deck and all on- and off-ramps from the outbound bridge lanes will remain closed through 5 a.m. Monday. Lanes will be closed on the ramps from the lower deck to the Parkway East and Fort Duquesne Boulevard/10th Street Bypass. Inbound lane closures will run from 7 tonight through 1 p.m tomorrow and as necessary through the weekend. Traffic will be detoured across the West End Bridge.

• Parkway West: Inbound lanes will be closed or restricted as necessary for guard rail repairs from 6 a.m. to noon tomorrow between the Carnegie and Green Tree interchanges.

• Route 910: Westbound traffic will be closed from 7 tonight until 6 a.m. Monday between the southbound Route 28 off-ramp and Locust Hill Road for concrete pavement replacement. Eastbound lanes will remain open. An alternating single lane will be used in both directions between Commerce Park Drive and Saxonburg Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow while crews saw cut pavement.

• I-79: Southbound lanes will be closed or restricted as necessary for guard rail repairs from 6 a.m. to noon tomorrow at the Crafton interchange.
