The International Medieval Society of Paris will host the 2008 symposium
entitled "Blood" June 24-26th, 2008.

Topic: Blood had profound significance in medieval culture. This symposium
will consider the diversity of blood's meanings and function in France from
c. 500 to c. 1500.

Keynote speakers: Franck Collard (Université Paris X-Nanterre) and Miri
Rubin (Queen Mary, University of London).
