Will ye gang into the Highlands? Bring your kilt, when the Shire of
Montevale presents “A Scottish Schola”, at Camp Sinoquipe, at the height
of the fall color in central Pennsylvania. We have planned course
tracks on the Scottish Wars of Independence (12th & 13th Centuries) and
other Celtic subjects.
We will have heavy weapons combat, and live weapons throwing, for those
who want to get their exercise. We hope to offer rapier also.
Feast will be a Scottish meal of fish and fowl and good red meat, with
haggis, neeps, and tatties for the true aficionados. Two breakfasts
(oatmeal porridge on Saturday) and a Saturday dayboard will also be
provided. Bring your feast gear and your appetite.
Abundant cabin space is available, with wood stoves for heat. Tent
space is also available.
