OpenSlide on Windows

I was able to get the dll from the Windows binaries download loaded in
windows and I used the test script to test it. On Linux, I got the
images written to ppm and it looks great. But on Windows, the same test
script produces images that seem to wrap around the image from right to
left, causing a shift also in the colors, so I'm getting stripes of blue
and green among the reddish-purple image (I tested with CMU-1.svs and
CMU-2.svs).

 

Is this a known issue on Windows? Is OpenSlide just not fully supported
on Windows yet and are there any plans for supporting it? Any info would
be greatly appreciated!
