Yeah, that's really horrible, isn't it.

I have a few stabs at that sitting on branches, but nothing solid.  It might be that 2.5 has to release without it, mostly as an upgrade path for people already on 2.4 (that upgrade is cheap).

I haven't forgotten about you guys, it's just a hard problem[tm].
