Heidi,
It looks like you are using an older version of Alice (2.04 ?) If this is true, would you download the latest version of Alice 2 available at http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/download_alice2.4 (2.4.2), try it, and let us know if you continue to have problems…
