Do you an approximate release date for this Alice 3 textbook that you mention? I am looking for a book for the fall semester.

Carolyn,
We have a set of video tutorials / demonstrations for Alice 3 currently available on our web site

although these may not be exactly what you are looking for. This is not a complete set by any stretch, and we are still developing and refining these, as well as finishing the textbook, which will have textbook specific videos as well.

The latest version Alice Level 2, version 2.4.3, has been released and is now available at

This is the intended release for the Fall, 2015 semester.
