alice-teacher Text Alice 2.2 Ver Shuts Down Spontaneously

After publication of the second edition of Learning to Program with Alice,
we found that the CD version of Alice 2.2  had a memory leak
problem.  We have since fixed this problem. However, it was not
possible to replace the CDs in textbooks that had already been pressed.

Please go to:

http://www.alice.org

and download the latest version of Alice 2.2.  If you are using Windows 7
on a 64-bit machine, then I recommend you download the version at

http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/alice2.2_archive

A third edition of the textbook is scheduled for publication in Jan., 2011.
The version of Alice 2.2 on the DVD with 3rd edition should not have
this problem.
