Laboratory for Social Minds Email List SOCMIND-L This is an unmoderated, informal list for collaborators, colleagues, and students associated with the Laboratory for Social Minds. Do anything. Among other things, it's appropriate to share links to recent work of your own (pre-prints, popular writing), information about talks, conferences and opportunities, and social gatherings lab members might find of interest ("some of us are doing a weekly coffee...") The list is also intended to facilitate discussion broadly associated with the intellectual interests and goals of the lab as a whole. To help our list serve as a useful archive, please use an informative subject line ("Conference on X in December", rather than "Nice".) Archives are currently public-accessible. The Laboratory for Social Minds studies the present and past of the human species to better understand its future. Using SOCMIND-L
To post a message to all the list members, send email to socmind-l@lists.andrew.cmu.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SOCMIND-L
Subscribe to SOCMIND-L by filling out the form below You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
