About Future-leaders-in-science	English (USA)
Future Leaders in Science is an organization that is developed to provide Carnegie Mellon’s MCS undergraduate and graduate students with outreach opportunities which will prepare them not only for careers, but for leadership roles by aiding in the development of leadership skills, communication techniques, and a commitment to service. This organization is also designed to give back to the community by inspiring K-12 students to investigate their world and possibly to realize their potential in math or science. Service projects related to science will be the heart of this organization. Ultimately, members will teach various topics in science to students from all over the greater Pittsburgh area by performing demonstrations or designing activities. The activities will take place at established events in Pittsburgh such as National Chemistry Week or at local schools.
