Adam,

As Eric mentioned, you need to ensure that you have a compatible computer
with a compatible gaming graphics card.

Not every desktop computer has or can even support a compatible graphic
card.

If you are unsure, it might be worth checking for recommendations with
people on an Oculus Quest 2 Facebook group. People there may try to push
you towards a high-end card, but you don't need anything fancy as long as
it will support an Oculus Quest 2.

You can also try contacting Oculus support, but they may not be as helpful.
