Lord Simon de Lalaing, retainer in the retinue of the Archduke of Austria, chronicled a ball held in Ulm in 1503 to celebrate the progress of his Lord. Come and help us recreate this very elegant, yet strangely egalitarian style of festivity, with food and refreshments to tempt your palettes!
