If I might make a further suggestion:

Perhaps punctuation, capitalization, and other corrections that do not
change the meaning or intent of any portion of the policies could be
addressed first as a separate effort.

I myself find markup mode confusing and annoying, and it is even more so
when minor changes are thrown into the mix.
