[SCA-BMDL] February Business Meeting

Thank you for this enlightenment, Mistress Hildarun.  As you probably
surmised, when I followed the link from the blog post, I saw a document
with no markup and no indication of how to see any markup/comments/changes.

In the future, I don't think we should expect people to know/remember that
you can't just click on the link but you have to download, and then run
Word (what about those of us who don't have Word?), and then turn on some
special mode, and only *then* can you see whether the change is to fix a
typo or revamp elections.  I think we'd all agree that the point of posting
proposed policy changes for review is to get feedback from people actually
reviewing them, so let's not impede that from the start.

In the future, could proposed policy changes be provided in the form of a
PDF that shows the changes?  This is what I'm used to from other groups
that can't just use an online collaboration tool like Google Docs.  Plus, I
suspect the seneschal's records would need to include a copy of what was
sent out for review, so somebody needs to generate that static copy
anyway.  Or, if the changes are small, you could do what the Board does and
just send out the current and proposed new text for specific sections.
Whatever the format, we should be aiming for: person reads blog post,
person clicks link, person sees actual proposed changes.
