[SCA-BMDL] Youth Fighter Practice this Sunday

Unto all Youth Fighters and their parents,

This is the week we move back to our summer fighter practice site at the
corner of Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd in the East End of
Pittsburgh. The site is here https://goo.gl/maps/rZ2LA

Youth fighting begins at 2:00 pm, but Maistir Brandubh will be there at 10
to clean up the site after the winter and welcomes assistants - bring heavy
gloves, trash bags, and a rake if you are available to assist.

This Sunday a reporter and photographer from the Tribune-Review newspaper
will be there to do a story about us, so please *wear garb *and let's do
our best to put on a good showing..

Loaner gear will be available for interested kids ages 6-17 who wish to try
youth combat.

Remember that the site is somewhat primitive, with no running water and
only a portajohn for a toilet. Bring a water bottle, and if you wish to
have something to sit on other than the grass, a folding chair is a good
idea. Don't forget the sunscreen!

The KINGDOM YOUTH COMBAT CHAMPION'S TOURNEY will be held at AEthelmearc War
Practice on May 16. Our very own Otto Brandulfarson will be passing on the
position of Div 1 Champion there - if you would like to fight in that
tourney and are not yet authorized, now is the time to practice so you CAN
authorize.

Youth combat schedule going forward:

April 19 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
April 26 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
May 3 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
May 10 - 2-5 pm at Washington Blvd.
May 16 - 9:00 am Kingdom Youth Combat Champs Tourney at War Practice
May 17 - NO practice - go to AEthelmearc War Practice
