[SCA-BMDL] Youth Fighter Practice this Sunday

Greetings to all Youth Fighters and their parents!

Welcome to new Division 1 fighter Ian, who tried youth combat for the first time last Sunday! We look forward to seeing you again when you return from vacation in a few weeks.

BMDL youth fighter practice will be held this Sunday in the park at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Allegheny River Blvd. in the East End. Map here: http://goo.gl/maps/FX4wg


Practice runs from 2-5 pm as usual. We'll keep an eye on the weather, as the forecast is for a chance of thunderstorms. Check the barony email list or Debatable Lands' Facebook page for updates.

Make sure to bring a water bottle. If you want a place to sit between bouts, remember to bring a folding chair.


The BMDL Youth Combat practice schedule for the next month is as follows:

June 16 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park

June 23 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park

June 30 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park

July 7 - Practice at Washington Blvd. park, with Barony meeting including Garb Swap and Pennsic Prep
July 14 - LAST YOUTH COMBAT PRACTICE BEFORE PENNSIC

There will be no youth combat practices from July 21 through August 4. We'll all be at Pennsic, where there will be youth combat from 8am to 11am and 3pm-5pm daily, plus tourneys and the ever-popular CASTLE BATTLE on the final Thursday of Pennsic. Also, now is the time to start lining up your adult partner for the AEthelmearc Youth/Adult Tag Team Tourney, to be held on Wednesday July 31 from 11am to 2pm on the main battlefield.
