  Hello Debatable Lands!
Join the Barony on Wednesday night, March 27th for an evening of socialization and learning! Since it worked well last year, the format for March's meeting will be the same - quick announcements, them plenty of socialization, with short 10-ish minute presentations interspersed. This year, we'll be learning about Tournaments!
Specifically, we'll learn about tournaments for non-combatants - ever wonder what to do with yourself during fighting? We'll show you! Possible presentations include: The Role of the Tournament Herald, Types of Tourneys, Fighting Primer for the Observer, Basics of Royal Protocol, and Simple Handwork Options. I'll send out an update as we have more details.
We'll end the night with a special activity: "Ask-A-Knight/Don". Ever want to ask a Knight or Don questions about their fields, but were too shy to ask? Now's your chance! We'll have a panel of Knights/White Scarfs or equivalent, and I'll be asking them questions submitted by you (anonymous is OK), and they'll answer! Email me with questions ahead of time, or just talk to me there. seneschale at debatablelands.org
The meeting will be held March 27th from 7pm to 9:30pm on CMU's campus in the University Center (off Forbes Ave) in the Peter/Wright/McKenna rooms (Second floor). Parking is free in the garage that time of night (there's ticket validation, but amount owed is $0). No garb required. Email seneschal at debatablelands.org if you need specific directions, or reply direct to me.

In Levitate et Caritate,~Hilda, Seneschale
PS: And why learning about tournaments? Why, for Baronial Tournament Day, of course! That will be the theme for May Barony Meeting, to be held on Sunday, May 26th, more details closer to the date
