[SCA-BMDL] OT: yarn for social projects?

sorry about the off topic post, but i can't remember the name of who i
was supposed contact.

i was told that there is at least one, if not more people in the
barony who knit or crochet hats for preemies?

my mom was given a large box of modern mundane very pretty yarn for
donation to the local senior center, only to find out they are no
longer knitting or corcheting. we are looking to pass the yarn along
to someone who knits or crochets for some charitable purpose.
