Report of the Court of their Majesties Uilliam and Constance Baron and
Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, at Archers to the
Wald, in the Canton of Steltonwald, on the thirteenth day of October anno
societatis forty-seven, Lord Jorundr hinn Rotinn reporting, with the
assistance of Lord Markus Skalpr Grimsson.

Their Excellencies thanked the assembled populace for attending the event
held this day. They further remarked on the good time They had at the event.

Their Excellencies summoned Master Jocopo di Niccolo to attend Them. Jocopo
had won a certain tournament at this event last year, which made him the
archery champion of the barony, Their Excellencies inquired of him if was
ready to relinquish that position. Jocopo replied that he was ready and
that today he had run a tournament to choose Their new champion. That
individual, Maistir Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, had won the day in an hour long
bear pit style tournament with 10 total competitors, 8 of whom were
eligible for the position of champion. Jocopo added his arrow to the
baronial quiver and passed the regalia to Brandubh, Brandubh was invited to
join Their Excellencies' Court, which he accepted. Scroll illuminated by

Their Excellencies then requested Lord Robert MacEwen of Thornhill and
Elizabeth Wilbur, Their youth archery champions, to attend Them. Robert and
Elizabeth had also run a tournament to choose their successor this day. The
tournament pitted 6 shooters against each other over a series of rounds at
various targets that the duo had designed. The victor in the end was
chosen, Lady Lyssa von Stahlgeist, who had been shooting a crossbow for the
second time. The regalia was passed to Lady Lyssa and she was invited to
join Their Excellencies' Court. Scroll by Zhang Ming Li.

Their Excellencies called Their thrown weapons champion THLord Kieran
MacRae to Their Presence. Kieran had also held a tournament this day to
choose his successor. From a field of 11 competitors, with the forms of
knife, axe and spear in which all scored, there was a clear victor. Sir
Thomas Byron of Haverford with a score of 41. The baronial axe was passed
on to Byron and he was asked to join Their Excellencies' Court. Scroll

Ingunn Halldorsdottir was invited to appear before Their Excellencies. As
the autocrat Ingunn had sponsored a marshal's choice award the category was
"Most Likely to Appear in an ESPN Highlight Reel." Today on Juan Miguel's
roving range there was one target where the archer was to sit on a barrel
and turn around to shoot a target behind them to simulate shooting from
horseback. The archer in question instead chose to bend over backwards and
shoot the arrow upside down, scoring a hit. THLord Deryk Archer was invited
into court in recognition of this feat.

Ingunn was bade to stay a moment longer. Their Excellencies had heard much
of the good works that Ingunn has been doing lately. She has taken the
position of deputy exchequer of the Canton of Steltonwald, and autocrating
this event all with two young children at home, For this Their Excellencies
inducted her into the Order of the Gold Comet. Scoll by Mistress Alessandra
d'Avignon with words by Master Robert Marston.

Their Excellencies invited Odriana vander Brugghe Their Court. Odriana
wished to recognize those scribes who had done work on baronial scrolls in
the past year, without whom Odriana's job as signet would have been
impossible.

Master Robert Marston asked leave of their Excellencies to perform some
business in Their Court, which They granted. Robert announced that he had
taken Ingunn Halldorsdottir as a protege just a month ago. He would also
like to announce that at War Practice he had asked an individual to become
his protege and man at arms and that today he was pleased to make that
relationship known to the Barony at large. Lord Aiden Gunn was invited to
court where he agreed to wear Master Robert's yellow belt, the end of which
can be used as a bottle opener. Aiden's lady Cionaodh Gunn was invited to
place the belt around Aiden's waist. Master Robert thanked Their
Excellencies' for Their time.

Their Excellencies called Nycolas Sparrowe to Their Court. They spoke of
the many good things that They had heard off Nycolas' fencing. Such as he
had been fencing for over 4 years and had been a long defender of the
Kingdom at the Pennsic War. He had been working on training new fencers, as
well as developing period styles from the German and Italian masters. For
this They inducted him into Their Order of the Red Comet. Illumination by
Lady Isabel Fleuretan and calligraphy by THLord Kameshima Zentarou Umakai.

Their Excellencies invited Lady Muirgheal inghean Dubhghail to come before
Them. Their Excellencies spoke of Muirgheal's long years as an archer and
an archery marshal, and that she had recently learned to fence and had
defended the Kingdom's honor at The Great Pennsic War. For this They

THLord Bóvi Farmaðr presented a collection of deserts for the populace to

made by the skilled hands of Lady Cionaodh Gunn.

notice the the fast that this was Lord Markus' first time heralding in
