Greetings!

Just a reminder that Barony Meeting (with Artisans' Row) is tonight! Come out and enjoy the arts, the companionship, and meet some of the new folks. :) See below for details.

Besides the folks coming to do handwork, embroidery, armoring, spinning, etc, the meeting will also feature:
* a short and very interesting presentation on period Celtic instruments by Lady Mary,
* songs from our own Debatable Choir
* a surprise from our Baronial Bardic Champion, Lady Kathryn
* Ask-A-Laurel!

If anyone else wants to do a short presentation (5-10 mins) on the overhead projector, let me know - doesn't necessarily have to be arts related. We have a couple folks working on their armor, too, so don't be shy about just coming up to work on your kit, or just to socialize!

The doors to Porter Hall may lock at 8pm, so if you get there after that, feel free to call my cell (412-606-6258), and we'll send someone to let you in. Porter 125C is on the 1st floor (not the ground floor), just down the hall (past the stairs) from where Sept Barony Meeting was.

~Hilda, Seneshcale

Subject: [SCA-BMDL] March Barony Meeting & Artisans' Row - 3/7/12 7:30pm Porter 125C

Greetings!

Please join us for March Barony Meeting on Wednesday night, March 7th, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Location is on CMU's campus in Porter Hall 125C. (Email me if you need directions.)

Our theme is Artisans' Row, and we cordially invite all artists, scientists, and other specialists to come with your favorite projects and create. Share you knowledge with other artisans, college folk, old and new folk alike. Not inclined toward the peaceful arts so far? Come and chat and socialize, enjoy the creative air. Do an art or activity that doesn't translate well to Artisans' Row? Now is your unique opportunity to participate in this one - the room has a projector, and we can show short presentations during the meeting. Presentations on any aspect of SCA life are welcome.

Announcements will be short. Space (especially table space) is somewhat limited, so please let me know if you're planning to participate in Artisans' Row, if possible. See also the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/382802048401748/

I'll also be on hand for anyone wanting to discuss recent SCA-related current events.

No garb. Meters are free on Frew St at that time til 2013 (we checked!). See you there!

In Levitate et Caritate,
~Hilda, Seneschale
