[SCA-BMDL] Court Report of Their Excellencies Uilliam and Constance at War Practice 5/18/12

Report of the court of Their Excellencies Uilliam and Constance, Baron and
Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, held on the
eighteenth day of May AS 47 at War Practice in the Canton of Steltonwald.
Jorundr hinn Rotinn reporting herald.

Their Excellencies called THLord Deryk Archer to come before Them. Her
Excellency told of Deryk's promise to enter Their first brewing
championship, and remarked on the lack of any entry from the good gentle in
question. Deryk replied that he had been detained by ravening hordes upon
his arrival at his camp, and during his attempts to placate their rage he
was unable to get to the championship; however Deryk did bring a bottle of
his finest for Her Excellency in lieu of his earlier participation. Her
Excellency accepted gratefully and then began to talk of the many works She
had seen Deryk working much for the glorification of Æthelmearc both inside
the borders of the barony and without. For this Their Excellencies were
pleased to induct Deryk into the Order of the Green Comet. Scroll by

Their Excellencies then called Hrökr, Aiobhell, Erlander, and Brandubh to
attend them. Their Excellencies spoke of how pleased they were that there
were so many entrants in Their first brewing championship. The choice was a
difficult one to make; however They chose a champion.
They then announced that the first baronial champion was to be Hrökr for
his traditional mead. Scroll illuminated by Master Alaric MacConall and

They further announced that the populace choice champion came down to a
difference of three beans, however a winner was determined, that winner was
also Hrökr.

His Excellency then spoke of the challenge that Syr Bear had made to the
Barony regarding its ownership, and He urged the populace to come out in
support of the Barony the very next day as they met this nefarious figure
in armored combat on the field.
