[SCA-BMDL] BMDL Youth Fighter Practice this Sunday, and NEWS

Greetings to all Youth Fighters and their parents!


Thanks to Lady Alethea, Lord Robert, and Kenneth for coming out last weekend to fight in the drizzle and humidity. They had fun, and freezer pops.


There will be BMDL youth fighting practice this Sunday from 2-5pm at the Washington Blvd. site, weather permitting. Thanks to Lady Ceindrech for running it while I am out of town.


Practices will continue every Sunday from 2-5 pm unless otherwise announced until we move indoors for the winter in November.


REMINDER: the AEthelmearc Kingdom Youth Combat Champion's Tourney will be held at Agincourt on October 22nd. Those who attend the most practices will have a competitive edge!

NEWS: Mistress Jenna, the Kingdom Youth Combat Marshall, has indicated that there will be experimental weapons made from padded, shaved rattan at the Summer's End Gion Festival this weekend in Buffalo. The Kingdom of Ealdormere and a few others use these weapons for youth combat. My sons and I will be at that event and will report on the results next week.
