[SCA-BMDL] Fw: Thrown Weapons Workshop

Greetings to the throwers of sharp and pointy things in the Barony!!

You all have noticed how tattered and worn our stands and targets have become -- they are in very poor shape! TODAY our good friend Alaric is hosting a repair workshop at his house!

If you have thrown axes, or knives, or spears, or your kids do, or your significant other does, now is the time to come out and help repair and replace all the broken bits so that we can start next year (and finish this year) with brandy-new, handsome targets. We have new butts that need to be painted, so even if you are not handy with tools, there is still lots of work to do.

Everyone works a little, we have a lot of fun, lots of work happens, and then we have dinner! Don't let the snow keep you away, head out now and I will see you there!

Greetings All!

This coming Saturday (October 29th), there will be a thrown weapons  
painting and repair workshop at Alaric & Elsbeth's place (in conjunction  
with the previously announced heraldry meeting).  We'll start around noon  
and end at 6pm.

The current plans are to paint and prepare several more rounds and do some  
maintenance / repair on the collection of stands.  More targets = more  
throwing!!

we can plan for snacks and dinner.
