[SCA-BMDL] CMU Fighting Schola Wednesday 6:30

Greetings,

   Our Fighting Schola will be meeting this Wednesday, 6:30-8:30.  If it
rains we'll meet at the usual location outside of Baker, and then go to
Porter A18B.  This week Bors will be teaching an intro to spear work, as
well as talking about melee fighting (teams instead of individuals), and
implications of spear fighting in a melee context.

The usual info:
   We will be hosting a Fighting Schola at Carnegie Mellon, this *Wednesday,
6:30-8:30*.  I would like to invite anyone interested in learning more about
the basics of fighting to join us (students will have priority in borrowing
loaner armor).  Much of the class will be unarmored, so feel free to come to
learn more, even if you are hesitant to hop into armor.  Experienced
fighters, I would like to invite you to join us to teach and spar with
newcomers (bring armor, and extra weapons).

For those not so martially inclined, we also have folks doing fiber arts
concurrently with the fighting instruction.

You can park for free on Frew street just after the library (now free) or at
Phipps (its closed at that time).
