Greetings,
I'm sure some of you knew Parrion.  He was the extremely tall, pipe-smoking
fencer from Blackstone Mountain, who was a regular at Blackstone Raid.

  It is with great and personal sadness that I must report the passing Lord
Richart Parrion.  Parrion left this world last Sunday apparently due to a
hunting accident.  Lord Parrion fought regularly with the Southern Watch,
served as Defender of the White Heart, and the Barony of Blackstone
Mountain's Rapier champion.  He was a regular champion at the Rapier Pearl
tournament, and always fought with heart and courage.  He was  a past
holder of AEthelmearc's Sylvan Iron Ring.  He was always a challenge
matching his classical fencing with aggressiveness and  a real desire to
win.  Parrion was also known for his music, singing often around campfires,
and carousing with friends.  A Captain in AEthelmearc's Navy, Lord Parrion
served his Kingdom well as royal guard, marshal and bard among other
duties.  He will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace, friend.
