This week's Spring Schola Series Session will be sure to get your blood pumping! Join us tomorrow night (Thursday) at 7:30pm as we learn the basics of English Country Dance, popular in the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Don't worry, it's very simple - if you can take a step, you can do it!

We'll be in Povar Hall, Room 1640, at Pitt. For directions and parking info, see http://www.debatablelands.org/events/spring-schola/ .

See you there!

And here's what's coming up:

Mar 17th: Woodblock Printing (hands-on). Those beautiful fabric patterns you see in medieval portraits weren't all woven or embroidered - many were painted right on, with a stamp. Come learn this fast, easy way to embellish your clothes and make them look great.

Mar 24th: Woodworking - Making a 6-plank Chest (hands-on). Help construct a chest of the type people in the Middle Ages would store their belongings.
