Fencers of Æthelmearc:

Unless you have been living under a rock, you are aware that today is the
day that Æthelmearc makes the change from light to heavy rapier default. If
you still have only a light authorization, you have six months from this day
to acquire your heavy auth. If you want to authorize in rapier from now on
you must first get your heavy single authorization.

Light rapier is not gone, and those with light rapier authorizations still
hold them. New light rapier authorizations may be gotten any time after your
first. After that, any form you are authorized in heavy rapier, will be able
to fight in light.
