Also, if anyone out there is interested in being an Officer or taking a Baronial Position, please consider coming out to this tonight for a couple hours.  It should be a pretty typical Officers' meeting.
 
Our Barony is a vital, fun place to play in the SCA.  We are very lucky to have so many choices, and so many activities.  Most of the wonderful things we do here in one way or another originate with, or are facilitated by the Officers and Baronial Positions. Many of the Officers currently need deputies. If you think you might like to be a part of the How and the Why things run here in the Debatable Lands, or you'd like to give back to the group by serving as an Officer deputy, please feel free to come on down tonight.  Or, if you're not available tonight, drop me a line and we can talk.

Just a reminder that BMDL Officers' Meeting is tonight, June 1st, 8pm, Porter Hall A18A on CMU's campus.  
 
Agenda includes: 

Officers' Reports, 
past and current event updates, 
taking event bids for late fall, winter, and/or spring, 
talking about July & Sept Barony meeting, and August Officers' Meeting timing,
June 23rd newcomers' social to complement Zoo Demo
Exchequers' Office is up tonight 
and likely talking policy updates. 
Officers' meeting is the "nuts and bolts" business meeting of how our Barony runs.  However, it is an open meeting, meaning the populace is always welcome. Parking should be pretty easy tonight, as the movies on Flagstaff Hill haven't started yet. Doors to Porter Hall lock at 8pm, so if you get there late, call my cell phone, and we'll send someone to let you in: 412-606-6258.  Let me know if you need directions.
