[SCA-BMDL] BMDL Twelfth Night Celebration - January 14, 2012

To all the people of the Barony Marche
of the Debatable Lands does Elss of Augsburg send warm holiday
greetings!



Prepare yourselves for celebration! Be
ready for fun and feasting!



This year's Barony Twelfth Night will
be held on January 14, 2012, at the Lodge in North Park, from 10 AM
until we can dance no more! Here are the details:
Location: The Lodge at North Park, (no
street number) Pearce Mill Road, Allison Park, PA 15101When: on Saturday, January 14, 2012,
the site will open at 10 AM and close at 10 PM or later, so that all
may have enough time to enjoy the day. 

This is a FREE event, though the
courtesy of the Barony, and everyone is invited, no reservations are
required, there is no charge at the door, and no non-member surcharge!
This is a perfect event to introduce newcomers to the gentle arts and
pageantry of the SCA, as much of each will be on display.

Be aware that several activities will
benefit from planning and forethought:
Bring a dish to share for the Potluck;
check the list of dishes that others are bringing and list your own
dish and ingredients on

feast gear and your potent potables - adult beverages are permitted!
Prepare an entry for the Baronial A&S
Champion competition; any completed article from a non-Laurel is
eligible, so that the Baron and Baroness may celebrate those who have
not attained their peerage in the arts and sciences.
Be ready, all musicians, singers,
storytellers, and performers, for the Baroness’ Bardic Champion
will be chosen this day – prepare two pieces, one serious, one
funny, each no more than three minutes long, and be prepared to
perform one or both.
