Unto all Gentles of the Barony Marche of Debatable Lands do the Children of this Fine Barony state Their Challenge!
While adults spend their time pursuing their own Glory, we observe surreptitiously, gauging the martial skill displayed by those we must watch hour after hour. Though this Barony is blessed with many of great prowess, the Children's Champions shall vanquish all, earning rightful booty for those who have often had to plead for such goods. So shall be the greater enjoyment of such rewards!
Charles de Cayeux, a favorite with the Children of the Barony Marche ever since his legendary Esther Bunny performance, shall represent Us in the fencing tournament. He is quick of step, agility incarnate, and inspired by his fair bride-to-be. Look to Virginio, whose love poetry belies his deadly blade!
Baron Byron of Haverford knows well the inspiration children can give. As long as it is not a Royal Round, we know he will best all, sinking his knives and axes into colorful targets with accuracy worthy of the Children's Thrown Weapons Champion!
Gabriel Hawkes, bringer of Toys, creator of the Children's Crusade event, and fighter of great renown, shall represent Us in the Heavy Weapons list. Watch as he confirms a Child's ability to choose a victor!
Who has taught us all to Shoot? None other than Urho Waltterinen, Children's Champion for Archery! Though he must face his new Student at the line, we have faith that his skill shall bring much booty to us and glory to his name.
Soon will come the day upon which Champions shall test their mettle, find strength and inspiration from the crowd and from in themselves. Prizes aplenty, both delicious or finely-worked, shall we offer, all made by our hands. We will be there, represented in full, ready to revel in the gains won. Honor and glory for their Champions, plunder and prizes for the Children!
Yours in Service,
The Children of the Debatable Lands
