Greetings good gentles!
The Debatable Lands' youth fighter program has been attracting quite an array of enthusiastic young fighters lately. We provide them with loaner gear, most of which is paid for by the marshalls from our own pockets. We're ok with that - we get a lot of equipment from thrift stores and flea markets, so it's not a lot of money.
However, we have one pressing need that we're hoping you can help with: larger sized hockey helmets.
Younger kids' helmets show up used all the time as kids grow out of them. Not so much larger ones. I am told that hockey players stash them in their closets because they are SURE they're going to use them again some day, kind of like that trumpet or flute they played back in high school...
So, if you have a good-condition hockey helmet in a large kids size,, or perhaps an adult size, which you would consider either donating to the youth fighter program or selling at a reasonable price, please let me know off line. We hate turning kids away from practice because we don't have helmets to fit them...
Thanks!

Arianna
P.S. If you are a former rattan fighter with a list-legal helm you no longer want, we can also use those. Older kids are fine with rattan-legal helmets for youth boffer.
