Here is some good feedback from Val and Harley; they've come out to fighting 
practice a few times (sometimes with and sometimes w/o their kids).

Hi, You know, when Harley and I joined. We were basically told to not
attend the main meeting. Which suprised us.  We were told look into
what your interested in and go to that.  We were use to going to
meetings that met at a resturant. Where we did formal stuff quickly and
then talked and ate together.  We were use to that being the place to
meet everyone.  Thus why we have never attended a meeting.

As for being at the college, that makes it hard for us to bring the
kids.  Which , we dont have a babysitter..so they usually have to come
with us to things.  Thus the meeting place is not very useable for all
people. Probably great for college kids.

We wouldnt mind meeting everyone and stuff.. but it just seems like we
werent invited to the main meetins, thus we never came.
