Ok, thanks, those links were very helpful. I found some useful information. Unfortunately, the recordings that I found cost a fortune!! Do any of you have anything I could borrow or know of something online I could download and burn? I'm looking for examples of ancient (Greek, Mesopotamian, etc), gregorian chant, minstrels and very early (pre baroque) opera and symphonic music. This is for a 1 hour presentation at work. Thanks.

I'd point you to the SCA music-and-dance page athttp://www.pbm.com/~lindahl/music.html as a starting point.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good informational resources about music prior to 1600, including recordings? Thanks.
