Report of the Court of Baron Alonzio and Baroness Tatyana of the
Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, court held on the 17th day of February
Anno Societatis xxxxi, at the Academy of St Julian, Brandubh O'Donnghaile
reporting herald.
Their Excellencies invited Clemente de Warrewyk before them to address the
populace as autocrat. Clemente thanked his staff who helped him make the
day the success that it was. Their Excellencies in turn thanked Clemente
and gave him a token for his work coordinating the event.
Helewys Spynnere was next invited to attend Their Excellencies, she was
presented with tokens of thanks as well for her services as head tollner for
the event.
Alonzio and Tatyana then wished to see the members of the cooks guild there
present, for they had furnished the plentiful sideboard for the event.
Tokens of thanks were given and the cooks invited all to help with the
disbursement of leftovers.
Their Excellencies then invited al the teachers into the court, for without
them, there would be no academy. The teachers of European dance: Saskia van
Ouwater, Cai o'r Llyn, Roana Devreux, Avelina del Dolce, Lyev Davidovich and
Conandil ingen donngaile; the teachers of Middle Eastern dance: Selime Berna
and Neefa bint Durr; and the teachers of music: Arianna of Wynthrope,
Elsbeth Anne Roth, Margaretha la Fauvelle, Pavel Dudoladov, and Christian
d'Hiver. Their Excellencies gave favors to all the teachers and thanked
them for traveling to our lands for this event.
But Conandil ingen donngaile was bid stay a moment longer. Their
Excellencies had known of the works of Conandil for many a year, as an
active member of the baronial dance guild and serving at demos while she
lived within our borders. They were pleased to see that she returned to our
lands to further our barony in the arts of dance, despite living in far of
Northpass, and were so moved to create her the newest companion of the Green
Comet, proclaiming her a friend of the Debatable Lands, scroll forthcoming.
The members of the Debatable Consort were called forward and thanked with
gifts for their hard work in making this event possible by providing live
music the entire length of the ball.
Alonzio and Tatyana then asked the members of the Debatable Choir to attend
them, for they had also provided a stirring concert for the populace that
day, and given tokens in thanks from the Baron and Baroness.
There being no further business the court of Their Excellencies was closed.
