Greetings from Myfanwy!
I knew when she lived in Ostgardr, and then later after she and Emeric 
moved to Bergental.  Anyone who ever heard the song "Beowulf, Don't be 
a Hero" should know that she wrote it -- *before* she joined the SCA, 
from what I understand.  :-)
I also remember some event in Ostgardr (I forget which one, it was a 
LONG time ago), where they had some sort of costume contest, a la the 
masquerades they have at SF conventions.  She dressed as "the Mayan in 
Winter"!
Yes, she most certainly will be missed.  Our hearts go out to her 
family.
