[SCA-BMDL] Court Report BMDL 12th Night Jan 8, 2006 AS XL

Greetings from Brandubh Comet Pursuivant,

I apologize for the delay in publishing this report, but some issues needed
to be ironed out before the report could be sent.

The following being the Court Report of Their Excellencies Alonzio and
Tatyana of the Debatable Lands, court held at BMDL Twelfthnight Celebration,
Sunday January 8, 2005 AS XL, Brandubh O'Donnghaile Reporting Herald.

  Their Excellencies invited Dona Sasha Grey into their presence as the
Rapier Marshall for the tourneys of the day to announce the winners.  The
Team of Fencers comprised of Illadore de Bedegrayne, Clewin Kupferhelbelinc,
Giovanni Magrino and Meg the Mad won the team tournament on that day, and
received a basket full of fencing gear as their prize.   Arabella McGrath
was named the most talented novice for the tournament and was given a blade
maintenance kit.

  Rosalia Iuliana Andere was invited before Their Excellencies to announce
the winners of the pillow boffer tournament.  Noah came victorious from the
youth list after a blood feud with his sister, and Cadell Blaidd du
conquered all foes in the adult list.

  Their Excellencies invited Edmundo da Monreale into their presence as
Pantalone of the House of Pantalone had mysteriously disappeared.  Edmundo
presented all of the merchant teams who had completed the quest, and they
presented relics and candied mosaics to Their Excellencies.  Edmundo then
gave prizes to all who attempted the quest of day.

  Their excellencies called Giovanni di Lupo into their presence.  Giovanni
was given a backlog scroll for the Gold Comet he received at Their
Excellencies' court at the Pennsic War.  The scroll was Illuminated by
Aibell Suil-uine and Calligraphed by Margaret Makafee.

  Fionnait inghean Cuchogaigh was given a Gold Comet for her work as
retainer, water bearer, dish washer.  Scroll Illuminated by Lara Sukhodrev,
Calligraphed by Anlaith ingen Trena.

  Corwin Montgomery was given a Gold Comet for his service at events and as
champion.  Scroll was a work in progress by Aidan ni Lier

  Their Excellencies called Lindsey before them.  Lindsey was given a
backlog Silver Comet for her work with I Genisii, from Their Excellencies
court on August 14 AS xl at Pennsic War.  2 Scrolls  one by Aidan ni
Lier and one by Hrefna inn heppna Thorgrimsdottir.

  Their Excelllencies called down Giovanni Magrino and gave him a Red Comet
for his skills with rapier, backlog scroll from court on August 14 AS xl at
Pennsic War by Graidhne ni Rauidh and Anlaith ingen Trena.

  Aiden Gunn was given a Red Comet for his skill and service to thrown
weapons, scroll by Anlaith ingen Trena.

  Cionaodh Gunn was given a Red Comet for her skill and service to archery,
scroll illuminated by Faraja bint Al-Husaine, calligraphy by Anlaith ingen
Trena.

  Arianna of Wynthrope was invited into Their Excellencies' presence and
made a member of the Moonstone for her years of dedication to the barony,
going above and beyond all expectations.  Scroll by Hrefna inn heppna
Thorgrimsdottir.

  Their Excellencies invited Aidan ni Lier into their court, and made her a
companion of the Silver Comet  or her skills at the scribal arts, scroll by
Gianna di Aurelio.

  Their Excellencies invited the Autocrat, Rosalia Iuliana Andere once more
before them.  Rosalia reminded the populace that the silent auction would
close shortly after court.

  Them Rosalia passed out the misrule cakes.  when all had eaten their fill
of the cakes, Arslan ibn Duad and Helena Spencer found that some mischievous
person had baked coins into their cakes.  Arslan and Helena were crowned as
Lord and Lady of Misrule.

  Court closed, and Their Excellencies left as a court of misrule opened.
