[SCA-BMDL] OT- Cold drinks at fighting/fencing practice

Greetings to all!

I am conducting an experiment to see if fighters, fences, and dancers would
be willing to buy chilled drinks at practices, with all proceeds going to
hurricane Katrina victims.  This is what will happen on Sunday:

*  I will show up at the Washington Boulevard practice before 2pm, and leave
after 4pm
*  I will bring a cooler full of cold Gatorade and spring water bottles
*  People will have the opportunity to buy a drink for a reasonable price
(less than a vending machine)
*  There will be a donation jar;  you take a drink, you pay for it yourself,
all on an honor system
*  There will be a note on the jar telling you how much the drinks cost at
Sam's club, and there will be a suggested donation amount.

This is an experiment.  I will need feedback on this project:  are you
interested, do you like having it there or prefer to bring your own, what
flavors do you prefer, etc.  If this goes well, I will share this idea with
others, and maybe other groups will offer drinks at their practices.

If 20 groups in Aethelmearc provide drinks to their exercising members, and
raise $5/week in profit, that comes to $100 per week kingdom-wide.  We could
raise several thousand dolars that way, and it's painless because it's money
people would have spent on drinks anyway - all we ask is that you consider
changing a vendor.
