[SCA-BMDL] OT: need a new home for a family dog

Greetings!

I'm sorry for posting this to the list, but I need help finding home for a
family pet.  My sister had Dixie for several years and she is a very well
behaved dog.  She is small, I don't think she's even 15 pounds.  We believe
she is Doxie/Beagle mix. My sister had to move and she can't have any pets
in her new apartment. We were watching Dixie temporarily, but since we have
2 other dogs (and 3 female dogs in our experience is not a good mix), we
can't keep her here.

I talked to my sister and she sadly asked me to see if I could find a new
home for Dixie.  We don't want her going to a shelter, since she was rescued
from a rescue.  If anyone would like a good, small dog (adult) or know
someone who might, please let me know ASAP.  She doesn't have a problem with
barking and is in good health.  If anyone would like more information,
please send me an email.  She's a different breed than our dogs.. and we
believe the difference in her fur (which is short) is setting off Malcolm's
allergeries, so we would like to find a new home for her as soon as
possible.

Please feel free to tell other friends and family about this.  I'll send out
an updated if and when we find a new home for her.
