[SCA-BMDL] OT - Trimaris relief: The Toothfairy Project

Greetings, gentles all !

May I please have the indulgence of your attention in regards to helping our
cousins in Trimaris.  According to the Trimaris coordinator, Mistress
Alysoun, there are around 350 paid-SCAdians (perhaps up to 900 if you count
non-paid SCAdians) in the Shire of Sangre Del Sol (Broward  County), who
were very hard hit by Hurricane Wilma and formally requested immediate
assistance (no power, no water, broken shelter, the works).

One of the needed items are personal hygiene kits.  It occurred to me that
900 kits are too many for us to assemble and transport.  *However*...we can
provide for a necessary part of a hygiene kit, and it won't even cost much.

Allow me to introduce "The Toothfairy Project"!

I would be very much obliged if every one of you would call your friendly
family dentist and kindly explain the nature of our mission, and ask for 10
toothbrushes, toothpastes, and dental flosses.  If only tens of us do it, we
will fulfill a basic need. We are talking about the sample give-aways that
dentists either get free or pay a small amount for.  Please go pick up the
dental kits, and mail them to the following address:

Please note that the dental kits are light and small, and therefore will fit
into a simple shipping envelope.  Shipping, even fast shipping, will be
relatively inexpensive.  People who live in the same area and who are
organized enough can coordinate and ship their dental kits together.

Please include the name and contact information of the donating dentist, as
well as yours.  Mistress Alysoun was adamant that she wants to thank
everyone involved.  Also, please shoot me an e-mail with a number of dental
kits mailed, so I can post the total later, and so I can give you updates
about our effort (how many kits mailed at which date).

This is a time-sensitive matter, and therefore I would appreciate that
those, who think that this is a good idea, would pick up the phone right now
and get the phone call out of the way.  Statistically speaking, some of you
need to schedule a cleaning anyway.
