Hi Evert,

You mentioned extracting the OpenSlide sources, but didn't say anything
about building them.  :-)  Were you able to build and install OpenSlide?
If so, you might want to check that the ${libdir} in your project is set to
the directory containing the installed OpenSlide .so file.
