The commit for Bug 3833 fixes my problems :-).

For Debian users, which have the same problem, I have managed to get a 
patch for the Debian source package for 2.4.16. This patch is sent via 
the Debian bug tracking system to the upstream maintainters: 
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=734648
