2.3.14: posting to shared mailbox results in 550 Permission denied

I can repeat it on my 32bit machine with saslperld, but it seems an odd regression. 

The only thing I can see in the codepaths is that it does depend what authentication mechanism you're using - but everything seems to support anonymous.  What patches are you applying?
