Putting

  createonpost: yes

in imapd.conf will do that (assuming you're using the UoA autocreate
patch set much-discussed recently).


I'm not sure that's what you really want in your scenario, though.
Surely you need to copy over the contents of any existing mailboxes
before you start dual-delivery.  Unless this is just for testing, of
course...
