AW: Cyrus Auth problem

thanks but i have no entries in my logs.

A snoop shows:

  imapserver -> 10.10.3.67   IMAP R port=1333 * OK dns-rwe01 Cyrus

   imapserver -> 10.10.3.67   IMAP R port=1333

  10.10.3.67 -> imapserver    IMAP C port=1333 2 logout\r\n
   imapserver -> 10.10.3.67   IMAP R port=1333
   imapserver -> 10.10.3.67   IMAP R port=1333 * BYE LOGOUT receive


If i connect with my thunderbird i got a popup "Login to server rejected
check ssl or tsl blabla"

I would like to use only authentication with /etc/passwd anymore !!!

since you're located in Cologne ... ;-)

Your config looks OK, but we need to see logging. Depending on your 
syslog.conf and build parameters the logging should probably be in 
/var/adm/messages or /var/log/maillog. If that doesn't help, try sniffing 
the connection with ethereal or tcpdump or snoop.
