Mailbox does not exist

Hi,
I'm trying to setup a postfix 2.1/cyrus 2.1 server on debian sarge,
but having the recurring 'Mailbox does not exist' problem.
I've searched this list for possible resolutions, but without any success.
I've set the options virtdomains to userid and unixhierarchysep to yes
to be able to create mailboxes of the form username at mydomain.com.
The delivery is done via deliver (cyrdeliver on debian) with the
following command :
/usr/sbin/cyrdeliver -e -r ${sender} ${recipient}
When launched manually, this command always print 'Mailbox does not
exist', even if the mailbox exists in Cyrus (i've tried various naming
formats without success).
The user accounts I've created successfully authenticate and seem to
view the content of their mailboxes without problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Sebastien.
